Information Regarding the Centre

The centre was officially opened on June 9^th 2002 and attended by senior members of Parliament such as Gurbax Malhi, MP; Raminder Gill, MPP; Bill Cowie, Deputy Mayor; Pastor Elmer Manzo, Moderator TAABC and other senior officials for various churches.  

The South Asian Welcome Centre is a non-profitable charitable organization which runs purely on the support received from donors. Some organizations currently supporting the SAWC are Baptist Convention of Ontario & Quebec (BCOQ); Toronto Association & Area Baptist Churches (TAABC); Mississauga City Baptist Church (MCBC); Central Park Baptist Church (CPBC); etc
