What We Are All About in '97

Host Programme
The Host Programme helps newcomers to Canada adjust to thier new country by matching them with volunteers from the community. This provides both volunteer and newcomer with an informal, fun, cross-cultural learning experience. Funded by Citizen & Immigration Canada

Moms & Tots Programme
For mothers & tots...a chance to share information and participate in arts, crafts, games and workshops.

Seniors' Drop-In Programme
Seniors of all cultural backgrounds are invited to join in the fun! Arts, crafts, movies, dominoes, dancing and more!

"Youthscape"
A youth drop-in programme with recreational activities including art, sports, drama, building leadership skills and a whole lot more!

Computer Training
Offering the skills needed in today's office environment. For EI (UI) recipients. Funded by Human Resources Development Canada.

ESL Classes
We offer English as a Second Language for LINC graduates in partnership with the Peel Board of Education.

NEW PROGRAMMES: Neighbourhood Project & Volunteer Mentorship
We are looking at expanding our services and add new programmes. We aim to provide a drop-in facility where people can conduct a job search, prepare a resume or check the latest classified ads and Internet job postings. Expanded programmes for youth and seniors are among the projects planned. We also train volunteers to assist us with the programmes, as well as to work at our bingo and other fundraising events. The membership will help us to plan & direct future endeavours.
